Hunting & Fishing

The Missouri River provides excellent outdoor activities. One example is it's good fishing. Hopefully it will get even better when smelt become more plentiful and the River comes up.

The third weekend in October is almost a state holiday, of course I am talking about the pheasant opener. Pheasant numbers seem to be excellent this year. Therefore hunting should be great this year!

As you can see in the pictures mule deer hunting is great. The deer were harvested in 2002 and 2003. Unfortunately only ten permits are given each year. Whitetail hunting is good and tags are plentiful.
